Summary

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with strong data engineering skills to join our forward-thinking team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining powerful Power BI solutions to provide actionable insights across our organization. You will leverage your data engineering expertise to streamline data pipelines, optimize flows, and ensure data availability and reliability.

As a member of the Customer Care and Demand Fulfillment Team under Qorvo’s Sales and Corp Marketing organization, you will convert business needs into effective dashboards and reports, contributing to our culture of innovation and the development of next-generation RF solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query
• Proficient in data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Experience with SQL, data-driven report writing, and creating reports from data
• Understanding of data warehousing theory/practices, data management, and data models
• Strong skills in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
• Eagerness to learn and master new skills
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to follow directions
• Energetic, self-motivated, and adaptable to change
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with all organizational levels

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability, applying best practices for data modeling and DAX calculations.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reporting software in a collaborative team environment.
• Drive technical improvements within the team and organization.
• Understand and implement medium to complex software architectures.
• Engage in established change management practices and processes.
• Document clean, functional, and testable requirements for Power BI reporting.
• Effectively communicate both independently and collaboratively.
• Adhere to lean principles and standardized processes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with business and technical leaders.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to design and implement scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation checks, error handling mechanisms, and monitoring processes.
