Job Description: Senior Principal Software Engineer (AI Runtime Security)

Your Career

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Software Engineer to bolster our AI Runtime Security team. This pivotal role focuses on developing and optimizing backend services with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance. We seek innovators with a deep understanding of cloud computing, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a proactive approach to exploring new AI infrastructures.

Your Impact

• Architect and develop scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud services for AI Runtime Security.
• Explore and integrate new AI technologies to advance our model serving capabilities.
• Lead the design and implementation of workflows for performance monitoring and testing.
• Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) on new feature requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovation.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, scalability, and system design are adopted by the team.

Your Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Proficiency in GoLang, Python, or Java.
• Expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP and its suite of managed services.
• Experience with web servers/proxies like NGINX and Envoy.
• 8+ years of experience in data infrastructure platforms.
• Strong experience in microservice development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DB technologies such as MySQL and Redis.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, optimization, and performance metrics.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
• Experience with AI infrastructure and model serving technologies is a significant advantage.

The compensation for this position depends on qualifications, experience, and location. The starting base salary range for this role is $170,000/yr to $262,791/yr, which may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. Detailed information about our employee benefits can be found .
