Key Role & Responsibilities

As a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at Amazon Ring, you'll play a crucial role in our device engineering team, elevating the standards of our camera products. Your primary focus will be on making sure our image quality meets exacting standards. This position involves:

• Working closely with the Ring device engineering team to oversee the product development lifecycle
• Leading rigorous testing efforts to ensure image quality complies with stringent requirements
• Designing and executing automated tests using advanced scripting tools to enhance testing efficiency
• Performing detailed regression testing to ensure product stability and reliability
• Documenting and tracking defects, and providing comprehensive reports to streamline issue resolution
• Developing and enhancing QA processes based on industry best practices
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to propel testing innovation

Location & Qualifications

We are looking to onboard candidates in Tampere, FIN. Ideal candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in a testing or development role within a product development organization, ideally in consumer electronics or smart home technologies
• A strong foundation in software development life cycles and QA methodologies
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as TestRail
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented work approach
• A keen interest in camera technologies and image quality
