Role Overview: Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer

As a Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer, you’ll lead the enhancement of simulation environments tailored for robotics. Your role will focus on cultivating sophisticated digital twins through technologies like NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim, streamlining development and integrating these innovations into a synthetic environment. This position involves creating detailed, realistic models and advanced simulations to refine the design, testing, and validation of robotic systems.

About You

Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, and OpenUSD.
• Experience in utilizing synthetic data to enhance robot motion and AI model accuracy and efficiency.
• Over 5 years of experience in developing large-scale projects with C++ and/or Rust.
• Strong background in developing high-performance 3D graphics software.
• Knowledge of CGAL, OpenCV, and other computational and vision libraries.
• Proven skills in handling point clouds, 3D meshes, and NURBs, and developing hardware-accelerated software.
• Project leadership with a demonstrated ability to lead timelines and cross-department collaborations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with applying machine learning techniques within simulation to boost manufacturing and inspection processes.

Salary Range:
$157,000—$200,000 USD. This is part of a comprehensive rewards package offered by Relativity Space.
