Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust, fault-tolerant, and low footprint sensor software for various Linux environments such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise, applicable on both cloud and on-premises.
• Design and write high-quality, high-performance code in a multi-threaded/multi-process environment to integrate customer data into our XDR platform.
• Continuously improve the performance of existing sensor software to minimize host resource usage.
• Create deployment scripts for the Linux sensor in customer environments.
• Independently analyze and resolve sensor-related customer issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's/PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity-related fields.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, C/C++, Shell script, Go, Ruby, or Java.
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as VXLAN, ICMP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP.
• Experience in performance tuning of Linux systems.
• Experience with Network IDS, IPS, and Network Security Monitoring engines like Suricata is a plus.
• Exceptional team player with a can-do attitude.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, capable of working independently in a high-energy, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior startup experience is a plus.
