Sr. Software Engineer Role - Simulation/Data Infrastructure

We are seeking a proficient Senior Software Engineer to tackle intricate simulation and data infrastructure challenges within a dynamic environment. This role involves close collaboration across various teams, contributing significantly to the development and deployment of robust autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate simulation and validation tools seamlessly into the engineering workflow.
• Enable stringent functionality validation and safety verifications using our sophisticated simulation systems.
• Design and enhance scalable data storage and processing frameworks to support our autonomy systems.
• Work intimately with autonomy engineers to understand and innovate on autonomous technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in C++. Knowledge of Python, Go, and other relevant programming languages is advantageous.
• Capability to address and optimize performance-critical systems effectively.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration, ensuring comprehensive system reliability and efficiency.

Additional Skills

• Familiarity with the broader aspects of the autonomy stack (e.g., planning, perception).
• Experience with distributed computing, parallel processing, and cloud-based technologies.
• Prior exposure to ROS/ROS2 environments.
