Your Career

This position offers the opportunity to build a career tackling network security challenges using advanced machine learning techniques on vast data sets. You will contribute to the development and delivery of cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning solutions to detect threats, provide intelligence, and protect devices.

Your Impact

As a Sr Staff Engineer, you will:

  • Drive the architecture and development of key modules on our next-generation Deep Learning-based AIOps security platform in Cloud management.
  • Create secure, robust, scalable, modular, and API-centric architectures.
  • Own the end-to-end services health and customer experience in your organization.
  • Foster a safe work culture that encourages individual decision-making and innovation.
  • Provide coaching for frequent and effective feedback among team members.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in design, algorithms, and data structures, with expertise in Java, Python, Cloud services, and Data platforms.
  • Proven ability to design scalable Observability, CI/CD, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automated security solutions for microservices on large-scale systems.
  • Experience working with large-scale geographically distributed always-on systems.
  • Proficient in Unix toolchains and experienced in a blend of native, managed, and scripting programming languages.
  • Experience with large-scale cluster management systems such as Kubernetes and Mesos is desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military experience.

Utilizing near real-time data collected through PAN-OS device telemetry, our premier AIOps for NGFW product enables large cybersecurity operators to gain insights into the health of their firewall devices. By employing advanced time-series forecasting and deep-learning anomaly detection techniques, our goal is to foresee and prevent service-impacting issues within critical security infrastructures, ensuring zero false positives and negatives.
