Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for a talented Staff AI Engineer with a robust expertise in LLM training and optimization. This role is crucial for developing advanced language models that enhance our capabilities in conversational AI, content generation, and comprehensive language understanding tasks.

As a part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product, UX Research, and Product Design teams to expand the horizons of what is achievable with these transformative language models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and enhance large language models for diverse NLP tasks.
• Develop and manage efficient training pipelines using distributed training methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define model specifications and architecture.
• Perform continuous model evaluations and optimizations to boost accuracy and diminish biases.
• Maintain awareness of current industry trends in NLP, multimodal signals, and large language models.
• Advance the framework for ethical standards and best practices in AI model development and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of machine learning engineering, specializing in NLP, deep learning, and AI model configuration.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and deep learning tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Expert knowledge in parallel computing, distributed training, and optimal hardware utilization.
• Skilled in data preprocessing, tokenization, embeddings, and advanced language modeling methods.
• Driven to develop scalable, impactful, and ethically responsible AI technologies.
• Excellent communicator with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
