Role Overview: What You Will Be Doing

As Adarga rapidly scales, we are expanding our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure underlying our cutting-edge product. Your expertise in modern DevOps practices for maintaining a containerized microservices architecture is crucial. Additionally, you will enhance our analytics capabilities, working closely with data scientists and the engineering team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end solutions to support engineering and data science requirements.
  • Collaborate with Architects and Principal Engineers to validate system designs.
  • Maintain and enhance our AWS Organization and account structure.
  • Contribute to our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) codebase.
  • Support the MLOps team in deploying ML tools.
  • Automate infrastructure delivery pipelines.
  • Optimize infrastructure using data from our observability stack.
  • Ensure current infrastructure is fault-tolerant and conduct disaster recovery testing.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (preferably EKS at production level).
  • Advanced AWS experience (Organizations, IAM, EKS, RDS, OpenSearch, S3, MSK).
  • Proven ability to design and execute significant infrastructure changes.
  • Leadership and coaching experience in delivering DevOps initiatives.
  • Experience with data backup and restore solutions (RDS, OpenSearch).
  • Advanced expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • DevSecOps knowledge - integrating security into DevOps culture.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python/Golang).

Desirable Requirements

  • Line management experience.
  • Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
  • Service mesh implementation experience.
  • AI/Machine Learning Platform experience.
