Lab Overview

Position Summary

We are currently looking for strong candidates with expertise in computer vision and multimodal machine learning (ML). Join us to work on high-impact projects and collaborate with some of the best minds in the industry.

Position Responsibilities

We are interested in candidates with diverse backgrounds and skills in areas such as:

• Multi-modal tasks: Visual question answering, visual dialog, visual captioning, vision-and-language representation learning, and dialogue-driven image/video search, editing, and summarization.
• Multi-modal planning and tool use.
• High-level computer vision: Object detection and segmentation, video summarization, activity recognition, and representation learning.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

• PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in Artificial Intelligence projects.
• A track record of publishing scientific papers in top conferences and journals.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and motivation for international collaboration.
• The ability to mentor interns and other scientists in the lab.
• Experience with ML optimization, including distributed training and low-rank adaptation.
• Solid technical and programming skills (Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow).

Compensation and Benefits

Our comprehensive total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $234,400 USD. Actual compensation will depend on various factors including the role’s function, location, and the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and generous benefits to support your well-being.

Work Environment

This position is office-based and will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
