Job Opportunity: Staff Solution Architect, SMAI (JR47096)

As a Staff Solution Architect at Micron, you will collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to design scalable, cutting-edge data science solutions in various technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) using both on-premises and cloud-based platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, production-ready advanced analytics and data science solutions.
  • Implement solutions that minimize technical debt through well-designed architecture, data models, and lifecycle management.
  • Share best-practice knowledge within the data science and solution architect community.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop data engineers and data scientists.
  • Explore Tools and Technology trends and bring new ideas to life.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in architecting, data modeling, and developing large-scale enterprise data solutions and business applications in various domains (e.g., Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Procurement) using Snowflake.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and developing database architecture, DWBI, and Data Science solutions.
  • 3+ years of cloud experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in designing and developing business applications and data solutions in combination with Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Python programming languages. Experience in YAML is desirable.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and scheduling tools is highly preferred.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and operationalizing AI/ML and deep learning models is an added advantage.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both management and developers.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward a common objective.
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
  • Technical Degree required. A background in Computer Science is highly desired.
