Your Impact

• Develop comprehensive technical content and code examples focused on the needs of Databricks’ data engineering and developer customers.
• Create, define, and drive innovative technical content strategies and features for our documentation site.
• Mentor and develop junior writers and peers, ensuring high standards of technical content.
• Inform and inspire our customers by setting the benchmark for excellent technical content.

What We Look For

• 5+ years of technical writing experience with cloud services.
• Background in technical writing, product management, developer relations, or support engineering.
• Proven strong technical writing skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Experience in content design and information architecture.
• Proficiency in using content analytics.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding teams or projects.
• Experience with data ingestion and streaming technologies, ideally Spark™.
• Proven experience in planning and delivering large, cross-functional projects.
• 2+ years coding experience in Python or Java/Scala.
• DevOps experience is a plus.

Pay Range Transparency

At Databricks, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is listed below and represents the base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. We utilize the full width of the range based on these factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for an annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
