Natixis Investment Managers is offering a 6-month internship beginning in early August 2024, to bolster our Database Research Department. We are eager to welcome an astute Data Scientist Intern to our team.

Internship Overview

As an integral part of our internship program, you will be tasked with developing Machine Learning models to analyze economic trends. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting a literature review to stay updated with academic and official developments (e.g., ECB, Bank of France, OECD, IMF).
• Modeling and formulating analytical models.
• Implementing these models using Python.
• Presenting your findings, potentially leading to publication.

In addition to model development, you will:

• Create reports and dashboards utilizing PowerBi, with training opportunities available during the internship.
• Contribute to task automation (e.g., data retrieval, API usage).
• Update economic, financial, and sectoral databases.
• Assist in researching AI documentation to implement new tools in the upcoming future.
