Join CHANEL: IT Project Management and Data Visualization Internship, September 2024

Located in the heart of Paris, CHANEL is offering a dynamic 6-month internship within the Information Systems Directorate of the Watchmaking-Jewelry Division. As a Stage Assistant(e) Chef de Projet Gouvernance IT et Data Visualisation, you will play a pivotal role in the IT transformation of the division, beginning in September 2024.

Your Mission at CHANEL

As a key member of our IT Governance & CIO Office team, you will occupy a cross-functional position, collaborating with various teams including Data Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Finance, Marketing, and more. Your role will be central to enhancing data visualization, improving operational performance monitoring, and contributing significantly to strategic project portfolio management.

You will handle responsibilities such as:

• Designing and developing metrics, reports, and dashboards to support strategic decisions.
• Developing an internal reporting tool for managing the IT project portfolio specific to the Watchmaking-Jewelry sectors.
• Participating in strategic planning and budgeting exercises.
• Contributing to project portfolio tracking and associated roadmaps with IT Domain Managers.
• Supporting and maintaining data migration of the division to the Cloud.
• Assisting business teams in digital transformation initiatives.
• Co-leading cybersecurity training workshops.
• Enhancing the onboarding process of new team members in the IT department.
• Improving the governance of the IT department.

Your Profile

You are currently studying in a business or engineering school (Master's level) with a keen interest in information systems. Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required. Previous experience with SharePoint, Power BI, or Power Apps would be highly beneficial, demonstrating your capability to effectively contribute to our data-driven initiatives.
