Major Responsibilities

• Implement statistical and AI/ML algorithms for clinical study design optimization and decision-making.
• Develop predictive models for clinical endpoints using machine learning frameworks and tools.
• Utilize real world data and advanced sampling methods for clinical trial simulations.
• Explore causal inference methods leveraging AI/ML for treatment effect estimation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex data, analytics requirements, and objectives.
• Stay current on advancements in AI/ML for clinical development.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff.

About You

Experience

Experience in statistical modeling and simulations and statistical tool development.

Soft Skills

Broad knowledge and experience in handling complex statistical or AI/ML models or large datasets. Familiarity with parallel computing and cloud computing platforms is essential.

Technical Skills

Proficient in R programming, with experience in Python, Julia, or other computational languages being advantageous. Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and advanced statistical concepts and techniques. Knowledge of clinical trial design is a plus.

Education

PhD/MS in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.

Languages

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English.
