Integrated Data Analytics and Reporting (IDAR) is seeking an experienced Statistical Programming Lead to join our team based in Bangalore, Mumbai, or Hyderabad. Position Summary

As a Statistical Programming Lead at Lifelancer, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering statistical programming activities for one or more clinical projects of low to medium complexity. You will provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to the programming teams, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.

In this role, you will apply advanced technical and problem-solving skills to support multiple project teams and contribute to therapeutic area or departmental innovation and process improvement projects.

Principal Responsibilities

As a Programming Lead:

• Accountable for Statistical Programming team delivery for clinical projects of low to medium complexity.
• Coordinate and oversee programming team activities, ensuring compliance with departmental processes and procedures.
• Develop detailed programming strategies and plans for clinical projects and act as a section lead for programming activities.
• Perform comprehensive reviews and provide input into project requirements and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to achieve project goals.
• Oversee statistical programming activities outsourced to third-party vendors, ensuring performance meets agreed-upon scope, timelines, and quality.

As an experienced Statistical Programmer:

• Design and develop programs for complex clinical data analysis and reporting activities.
• Apply technical and analytical expertise to develop solutions increasing efficiency and quality across clinical projects.
• Lead or contribute to solutions in specific areas of expertise that enhance project deliverables.
• Serve as a Therapeutic/Disease Area Expert, contributing to standards strategy and definition.
• Ensure compliance with company and departmental training, time reporting, and business processes.
• Contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement projects.

Principal Relationships

Reports to a people manager within the functional area and is accountable to the Statistical Programming Portfolio Lead for assigned activities. Key functional contacts within IDAR include the Statistical Programming Portfolio Lead, Statistical Programmers, Data Management, and Regulatory Medical Writing personnel. Collaborate with Clinical Trial Lead, Quantitative Sciences, Biostatisticians, and Regulatory teams within Janssen. Engage with external partners, including CROs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, data science/analytics, public health, or related field.
• 6-8 years of programming experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical/clinical trial environment.
• Advanced knowledge of SAS and other relevant programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
• Proven experience in planning, coordinating programming activities, and leading teams.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and relevant clinical R&D concepts.
• Basic project management skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
