Job Description: Strategic Projects Manager (AI)

We are searching for a Strategic Projects Manager (AI) to accelerate the synergy between our global AI division and Italy operations. Our team harnesses AI technologies to benefit patients, doctors, and clinics, blending the stability of an established company with the agility of a startup. We explore the potentials of current technologies, interface closely with users, validate ideas, and develop PoCs, MVPs, and scalable solutions to ensure they deliver genuine value to end users.

The Strategic Projects Manager will collaborate extensively with central and local teams. This role requires a hands-on approach, including direct customer interactions, data analysis, and running tests and experiments. The position reports to the VP of New Ventures/Head of AI.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating to develop new AI-focused ventures and products within our fast-growing company, from ideation to initial scaling.
• Co-creating concepts, validating, improving, and scaling them in conjunction with the cross-functional AI team and Italy's local team (customer success, marketing).
• Testing business ideas in real-time, executing experiments in both digital/online spaces and business offerings (e.g., market entry, product testing).
• Engaging with potential partners, customers, and users, onboarding initial groups, and gathering feedback.
• Analyzing product usage data and customer feedback to provide insightful recommendations and ideas.
• Running AI/LLM tools experiments and advising on implementation.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Interdisciplinary entrepreneurial mindset.
• High energy, ownership, and strong communication skills.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (e.g., project management, customer success, product management, research) in a high-growth environment (tech experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing product usage data to offer actionable insights.
• Hands-on approach and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment, capable of toggling between strategic and operational tasks.
• Exceptional project management skills—organized, systematic, and detail-oriented with a results-focused approach.
• Experience in understanding customer pain points, validating market hypotheses, conducting market experiments, scoping product/services, and go-to-market strategies.
• Fluency in Italian and English (B2 level or higher).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in digital marketing, strategy development, or campaign management for small businesses.
• Experience with AI, ML projects, including LLM-based solutions and various prompting techniques.
• Residence in the Rome or Bologna region.
