At the Interactive and Cognitive Systems research group, we delve into the complexities of both artificial and natural cognitive systems across various application fields. Specifically, our current focus is on revolutionary agricultural practices by integrating cognitive and AI methods with an agricultural robot known as Farmbot. We invite you to become a key player in our dynamic team, pushing the boundaries of research and innovation in digital agriculture.

Role Responsibilities:

In your role, you will:

  • Set up, install, and maintain the Farmbot.
  • Implement cognitive and AI methods tailored for the Farmbot.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of these methods.
  • Carry out experimental research.
  • Gain the opportunity to develop your master's thesis on this groundbreaking topic after six months.

What We Are Looking for:

You are an ideal candidate if you are:

  • Currently enrolled as a master's student achieving high grades in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Agricultural Sciences.
  • Interested in harnessing your thesis to further explore this project.
  • Proficient in Python, REST, and RabbitMQ.
  • Experienced in developing application-specific Machine Learning models with capabilities in implementing and testing existing models.
  • Able to work independently and innovatively.
