The Virtual Product Creation division specializes in optimizing existing solutions and discovering new avenues to ensure integrated information flow throughout the entire product lifecycle. Our team develops and refines cutting-edge technologies for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in current research and development projects in the field of virtual product development, focusing on data integrity, particularly in data ecosystems (Dataspaces).
  • Support the scientific and technological development of topics and demonstrators, including IT systems for product development such as digital twins, AI model integration, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) within companies.
  • Provide technological support in developing elements of data ecosystems and creating demonstrators for digital twins.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong understanding of technical and IT processes.

Desirable but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge in the field of digital twins and their semantic integration.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, ROS.
  • Experience with Web3 technologies, ontologies, digital signatures, and machine learning.
