The NVIDIA Operations organization is seeking a seasoned software engineering professional for the role of System Data Software Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in constructing cloud-based data platforms, supporting Data Platform, Reporting, and Analytics initiatives. Your contributions will transform data into information, driving insights and business outcomes.

Role Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing framework modules to extract data from various source systems, ensuring data integrity, applying business transformations, and storing data in a Data Lake (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Enabling self-service and Machine Learning platforms for diverse business units.
• Owning and enhancing data platform and transformation tools utilized in AI & ML applications.
• Constructing, scaling, and optimizing self-serve ETL frameworks and streaming pipelines to manage data storage and real-time analytics effectively.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience with programming skills such as Python and Database architectures.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses/data lakes for intricate data ecosystems.
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly in data extraction and transformations.

Preferred Skills

Stand out with:

• In-depth understanding of operational processes in semiconductor chips, boards, systems, and servers.
• Advanced experience in designing ETL pipelines using Spark, SQL, AWS/Cloud.
• Experience with SAP systems integration, Datamart, Business Objects, and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Jupyter Notebooks.

Compensation: The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 258,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Additionally, you will be eligible for equity and benefits.
