Open Positions: Test Engineers (Hardware & Software) in Barcelona

We are seeking two highly motivated Test Engineers to join our R&D team in Barcelona. You will play a crucial role in bringing new products to market while ensuring the highest quality of current products. Join our team of knowledgeable engineers and work with cutting-edge development tools and practices.

Hardware Test Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Hands-on new hardware board bring-up, system debugging, and optimization.
• Review and improve external documentation for Servo Drives products (product manuals, datasheets, etc.).
• Enhance internal documentation for Servo Drives products (architecture, detailed design, etc.).
• Define, in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team, the Test and Verification plans for Servo Drives products.
• Validate and verify hardware designs.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training And Competencies:

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience.
• Experience in electronic circuit technology design and assembly processes.
• Background in electrical power application and knowledge of EMIs.
• Experience with PCB / PCA manufacturing processes and HW Testing.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Experience in standards UNE-EN IEC 61800-3 & UNE-EN IEC 61800-5-2 is a plus.
• Interest in the Robotics / Motion Control field.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, creative problem-solving, and a proactive attitude.

Software Test Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Verify and detect bugs before the product launch.
• Write internal documentation and test reports.
• Define Test Plans for Ingenia products.
• Review and improve external documentation for Servo Drives products (product manuals, datasheets, etc.).

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training And Competencies:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Control / Robotics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience.
• Experience in software testing procedures.
• Knowledge in scripting (Python or C++).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Interest in the Robotics / Motion Control field.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, creative problem-solving, and a proactive attitude.
