Job Description and Qualifications

Join our dynamic team at Boeing! We are currently seeking a Mid or Lead-Level Systems Engineer to support Government Training Engineering (GTE) and the SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) team in Hazelwood, MO. This role primarily focuses on verification and integration activities for the F-15 International Trainers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Apply an interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system solutions.
  • Evaluate customer needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements.
  • Perform various analyses to optimize system architecture.
  • Conduct assessments for affordability, safety, reliability, and other quality factors to ensure mission success.
  • Develop and improve requirements management processes and tools.
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues.
  • Support additional programs or duties as needed.

Note: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is necessary.

Work Location: This position is 100% onsite at one of our listed locations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • 5+ years of experience in SEIT product development lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering development processes and leading teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (15-25%).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience integrating and troubleshooting aircrew training systems with COTS computational systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe/EVM methodologies.
  • Background in fighter trainer platform support.
  • Experience developing network architectures and automation scripts.

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid-Level (3):

Advanced technical education (Bachelor, PhD, Master) with 5+ years of related work experience.

Lead-Level (4):

Advanced technical education (Bachelor, PhD, Master) with 9+ years of related work experience.

Additional Information

Relocation: Available for eligible candidates.

Salary Range

Mid-Level: $97,750 - $132,250

Lead-Level: $119,850 - $162,150
