Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer Architect (Engineer Systems Architect 3) to support the Joint Force Development Research and Analysis for Joint Staff J7 (JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop system architectures, defining key capabilities and performance requirements.
  • Outline total systems design and technology maturity constraints in line with mission requirements.
  • Develop system element architecture, design interfaces, and define system implementation approaches and operational concepts.
  • Create models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
  • Apply comprehensive understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field, with general knowledge of related disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should meet one of the following criteria:

  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field.
  • 0 years of experience with a Ph.D. or Juris Doctorate in a related field.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience.
