Job Description
Airbus Helicopters is actively seeking a new Tech Data Production Manager (m/w/d) to join our dedicated team in Donauwörth and manage current and future projects. Take on the exciting challenge of managing the production of all Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness for one of our civil helicopter programs.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee End-to-End Production Management (internal and external contributions: Squads, Subcos) ensuring process compliance and completeness at Aircraft Master Planning.
- Handle both Master and Tactical Planning management.
- Negotiate and align with Chief Engineering and Programs among others.
- Monitor and report production: flow, blockages, bottlenecks, performance issues, Earned Value Management analysis.
- Contribute to Workload/Capacity analysis with the Head of Metier.
- Lead production management routines.
- Monitor and improve Unit Cost; identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to Make or Buy strategy.
- Ensure Safety, Ethics, and Export Control compliance in production flow.
- Contribute to the strategy of production tools.
- Lead problem-solving processes related to planning & workload/capacity issues.
- Validate Work Unit Requests for external partners and provide regular forecasts.
- Provide and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly Tech Data production reports.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Design Office or Tech Data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Analytical thinking.
- Experience in planning, initiating, executing, and closing projects.
- Experience coordinating a multinational team.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for regular graph and table production.
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
