Roles & Responsibilities

As a Tech Team Lead - Power BI, you will:

• Lead the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex reports and dashboards using Power BI. Familiarity with additional reporting tools is advantageous.
• Develop and execute strategic data solutions plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Mentor and guide a team of developers across multiple projects, providing technical and professional guidance.
• Review and own the skill development of team members and propose suitable actions based on performance.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
• Build Power BI models based on advanced data modeling designs, such as Snowflake, Star, and Relational models.
• Independently resolve complex modeling issues in Power BI, ensuring robust and efficient data solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development.
• Have knowledge of ETL processes and data integration solutions using industry-leading tools (e.g., Databricks, Talend).
• Establish quality metrics and ensure their implementation, adhering to best practices and standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of experience in developing and implementing reports and dashboards, primarily focusing on Microsoft Tool stack/Power BI.
• Proven ability to build solutions and resolve complex modeling issues in Power BI with minimal support.
• Advanced coding skills in SQL, MDX, and DAX, with extensive experience in SQL performance tuning and debugging.
• Proficiency in creating complex data models and visualizations that drive impactful business decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Power Query, M, R, and Python is highly advantageous.
• Deep knowledge of Information Retrieval and Data Warehouse (DWH) Architecture.
• Extensive experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, and Data Mart design.
