Guided by Senior Technical Curriculum Developers, you'll focus on content related to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, covering key areas like data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the Databricks Curriculum Development Team, you will:

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, product managers, engineers, technical subject matter experts, and fellow technical curriculum developers to produce impactful learning content for self-paced and instructor-led training.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and offerings from Databricks.

Expected Outcomes

In this role, you will:

  • Leverage your technical knowledge to create multi-modal training content for Databricks customers, including conceptual videos, hands-on labs, and technical demos.
  • Work closely with technical curriculum developers, technical trainers, and SMEs to develop and refine training materials.
  • Collect and analyze feedback on content, addressing bugs and enhancing content quality as needed.
  • Apply and contribute to robust instructional design and curriculum development methodologies.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Over 4 years of experience in analyzing, developing, and delivering highly technical content, particularly in data engineering, data science, or machine learning.
  • Quickly adaptable to new technologies.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (e.g., Git, testing, modularization).
  • Deep understanding of data engineering and/or machine learning concepts and workflows.
  • Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python and SQL.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of Databricks features related to data engineering (e.g., Delta Lake, Apache Spark™, Databricks Jobs, Hadoop) and machine learning (e.g., MLflow).
