IDEXX is actively seeking a Technical Data Specialist to enhance our Global CAG Strategic Pricing Team. Key Responsibilities

• Extract, store, automate, and visualize pricing data.
• Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and systems.
• Work with SAP, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Python.
• Develop data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Automate data processes and integrate pricing data with other business systems.

Specific Duties

• Create, organize, validate, develop, reconcile, and maintain pricing datasets.
• Build an inventory of pricing data needed for the architecture.
• Continuously improve pricing data for predictive modeling.
• Develop and maintain scalable technical reporting solutions.
• Create dashboards for effective communication with stakeholders.
• Monitor and enhance pricing data processes.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and data integrity issues.
• Optimize data visualization and dashboard designs.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes and reporting guides.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and process improvements.

What You Need to Succeed

• Proficiency in SQL and Python (preferred).
• Experience with SAP and Snowflake relational databases.
• Expertise in data visualization and dashboard designs, preferably using Tableau.
• Strong data manipulation skills; advanced Excel skills are beneficial.
• Natural curiosity and excellence in data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in designing and maintaining business reports.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in prioritizing work and handling tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
