Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Investigative Analyst to join our exciting and growing mission. The ideal candidate will utilize their extensive analytic and technical expertise to support investigative missions, with a particular emphasis on Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize investigative, analytic, technical, and writing skills to thoroughly and efficiently analyze large datasets to identify concerning behavior and non-obvious correlations, particularly related to Cloud environments.
  • Perform all-source analysis to support the mission.
  • Research, prepare, and present reports and briefings as required.
  • Detect fraud, waste, abuse, and misuse of information technology systems.
  • Propose new methodologies and tools to enhance analytic capabilities.
  • Participate in working groups and technical meetings to address issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob.
  • Strong SQL experience and technical expertise in querying and analyzing data for investigative or operational purposes.
  • Demonstrated investigative, analytic, and/or operational experience.
  • Proven effectiveness in delivering both impromptu and prepared data analysis and briefings.
  • Proven effectiveness in closing out investigative efforts and presenting findings for review and action.
  • Strong writing skills, including formal reports and less-formal email correspondence.
  • Proven ability to collect and analyze highly-technical information and represent/visualize it accurately for non-technical third parties.
  • Exceptional judgment in responding to questions generated from data holdings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coding in Python, R, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
