Are you an experienced SAP Master Data Management (MDM) professional looking to take on a leadership role in a global company? Do you possess the necessary technical SAP skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Sika Global IT in Zurich is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Lead SAP MDM (Master Data Management)

• You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SAP Master Data processes throughout the organization.
• Be the technical expert and the manager of our master data tools (SAP migration cockpit, LSMW, MDG-M, MDG-S) – continually improve the tools based on the latest technology and innovations.
• Utilize your SQL skills to own and enhance our in-house master data tool for quality checks.
• Refine the existing Data Governance strategy with the Global Process Owner Master Data Management to ensure data accuracy, completeness, stewardship, consistency, and accountability.
• Manage and guide the SAP Master Data team to be recognized as a business partner that promotes efficiency and facilitates profitable business growth.
• Take ownership of data integration, maintenance, the workflow of data as well as data quality.
• Push for IT system enhancements and new technologies to automate and improve efficiency of Master Data/Data Governance processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAP Master Data Management, continually seeking opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, with a proven record of successfully leading MDM initiatives.
• Strong knowledge and technical expertise of SAP Master Data Management tools, processes, and data governance principles.
• Techno-functional expert knowledge in SAP MDG and Migration Cockpit (including customizing).
• Ability to drive the SAP master data system enhancements and improvements based on the latest technologies to automate and enhance the efficiency of master data / data governance processes.
• Outstanding technical SQL skills to maintain and enhance our internal data quality tool.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding and mentoring a master data team.
• Ability to define project plans, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the successful delivery of master data solutions.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding complex data models and business processes, and capable of developing innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• A mindset oriented towards driving innovation and change.
• Knowledge of manufacturing industry processes is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 - 20% of the time.
• Fluency in English, German is a significant advantage.
