Job Overview:

As a Technical Program Manager specializing in AR & AI Software Technologies at Meta, you will be instrumental in driving the success of cutting-edge products within the augmented reality (AR) spectrum. This pivotal role invites an experienced leader to guide the development of new software technologies, product features, and platform capabilities aimed at enhancing future AR devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs that span various departments including product management, user experience, software engineering, and more, from early development stages right through to customer launch.
• Design and implement end-to-end program plans ensuring timely delivery across multiple organizational domains.
• Oversee the technical strategy, proactively manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain alignment on priorities across broad, cross-functional areas.
• Initiate and guide launch/release activities related to software models, firmware, and complete software feature sets.
• Enhance operational efficiency through the design and scaling of solutions, backed by established best practices and key performance indicators.
• Communicate effectively regarding program status, issues, and risks, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders and executive management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of six years in roles such as technical program manager, engineering manager, or in product management, leading software development initiatives.
• Proven track record of delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
• Experience in software and hardware product development cycles.
• Demonstrated success in delivering innovative software technology projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering processes and scalability improvements.
• Strong leadership, decision-making skills, and experience presenting to large groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Assistant technologies.
• Experience with embedded systems and software for consumer devices.
• Practical knowledge of AR technologies.

Compensation and Benefits:
