This will enable data scientists, engineers, and developers to generate valuable data to overcome the costs and hurdles associated with obtaining and using real-world data for AI development.

In your role as Technical Program Manager, Computer Vision, you will guide the delivery experience for our enterprise customers. Your duties will include identifying, tracking, and coordinating tasks with a diverse development team. You'll also use your knowledge of computer vision projects to ensure teams are providing real customer value. As a program manager, you will coordinate regular customer meetings and status reviews, work with product and delivery team leaders to identify long-term initiatives, and provide feedback on upcoming platform releases to meet customer needs. You will work closely with product and development leaders, playing a vital role in ensuring Rendered.ai is delivering value in a sustainable and achievable manner. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also contribute by mentoring staff in areas like computer vision and project delivery.

This position has a direct reporting line to the VP of Customer Success at Rendered.ai.

Our product offers a platform-as-a-service solution for data scientists, data engineers, and developers, enabling them to create and deploy custom synthetic data pipelines for machine learning and artificial intelligence workflows. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and incrementally improve the delivery of customer projects with remote and international teams and customers.
  • Utilize standard planning tools (JIRA, GitHub, Trello) to manage and track release and sprint/iteration progress and outcomes.
  • Develop program communications, including status reports, issue tracking and resolution, meeting coordination, and project and program planning.
  • Lead team members in resolving complex issues to reach collaborative consensus.
  • Guide and mentor less-experienced team members.
  • Work across multiple time zones and manage meeting times to maintain a healthy work-life balance for yourself, customers, and your team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of software development methodology, resource allocation, budgeting, and requirements.
  • Technical experience in computer vision.
  • Familiarity with IDEs such as VS Code, Atom for inspection, execution, and evaluation of code.
  • Experience with collaborative Lean and Agile development processes.
  • Experience with managing code and architecture review processes.
  • Comfort with various tools like JIRA, Trello, GitHub, and ability to propose new tools to improve the development process.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of increasing professional experience in software development, project management or technical program management, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A degree in computer science, technology management, or other relevant subjects.
  • Experience in managing and navigating teams from startup to growth phase.
  • Interest in creating and maintaining coding quality standards and capacity for integrating feedback into process improvements.
  • Experience with 3D applications and technology for visualization, defense, geospatial, life sciences, or similar.
  • Experience in a evolving startup environment, where staff often perform multiple roles.
