Role Overview: Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you are at the helm of delivering innovative automation and robotics solutions to our partners and clientele. Your role involves steering a major R&D project funded by the German government, aimed at developing a user-friendly robotics data ecosystem. Engage with top-tier companies and utilize your expertise to drive project objectives, manage deliverables, and ensure alignment across diverse internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative automation technologies and robotic solutions.
• Coordinate project scopes, schedules, and monitor delivery timelines to accommodate evolving project needs.
• Oversee the project budget and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of funds.
• Consistently evaluate and refine our processes to enhance our delivery capabilities.
• Maintain regular communication with leadership, proactively addressing and escalating crucial issues.

What You Will Need

Success in this role requires a blend of technical proficiency and exceptional leadership skills:

• Fluency in both German and English.
• Strong background in technical program/project management with the ability to operate under ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Expertise in managing publicly funded projects, including proposal writing and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with a sturdy grasp of technical discussions and concepts.

Distinguishing Skills

To further stand out, possessing knowledge in the following areas will be advantageous:

• Familiarity with data infrastructure solutions like cloud services, Kubernetes, and relational databases.
• Understanding of robotics-automation project management, conventional automation systems, and functional safety in mechatronics.
