Role: Project Manager: Data-led Technologies (AI/ML, CV, IoT)
Job Description:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing data-led technology projects (AI/ML/NLP). You will collaborate with data science, engineering, sales teams, and domain experts throughout the lifecycle of projects, from proposal to wrap-up. Your key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the continuous improvement of data science and machine learning initiatives by adhering to industry best practices and staying updated with and contributing to the latest developments in data science research.
• Leading technical teams specialized in AI/ML, managing individuals with diverse talents and responsibilities.
• Identifying opportunities and leading teams of Blockchain, implementing AI solutions on Edge IoT devices.
• Managing and leading the team, communicating goals and objectives, providing continuous feedback, and monitoring team members' performance.
• Contributing to the organization's growth by hiring, training, and mentoring teams for growth and skill development.
• Planning programs and activities in line with the goals of the department and organization.
• Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the department.
• Building a budget, operational plan for the program, evaluation method to assess program strengths, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Writing funding proposals for program continuation and uninterrupted service delivery.
• Ensuring project goals are met in areas like customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
• Meeting with stakeholders for easy and clear communication regarding project issues and decisions on services.
• Delivering accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle, anticipating program risks and formulating mitigation plans.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, with at least 3 years of experience managing projects with AI/ML.
• Demonstrated experience in operationalizing AI/ML/NLP/CV projects
• Practical skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large data volumes using a distributed computing platform.
• Understanding of data architecture requirements and conceptual approaches for deploying algorithmic solutions in productive Big Data environments.
• Proven experience in managing software technology programs.
• Track record of delivering solutions to customers and managing teams.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, SAFe etc.
• Domain knowledge in mobility, industry 4.0 would be advantageous.

Qualifications

MTech,MS,BE,BTech or MCA

Additional Information

• Good to have:
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs, Version control tools like Git/Bitbucket, creating CI/CD pipelines for ML projects, dockerizing microservices
  • Experience managing Computer Vision / NLP projects
  • Experience with frameworks for demonstrating model interpretability and .
  • Familiarity with APM tools like Splunk/ELK/EFK/Kibana etc
  • Experience with any of the cloud platforms - AWS/GCP/Azure would be advantageous.
