Join Our Team as a Technical Specialist in AI Infrastructure and Machine Learning Operations at Google

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Specialist with expertise in AI Infrastructure and Machine Learning Operations to join the innovative Google Cloud Platform team. This role is essential in helping our customers, ranging from developers to large enterprises, leverage cloud technology to drive transformation and achieve business success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience in building and operationalizing machine learning models.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in training and fine-tuning large models using accelerators (e.g., image, language, segmentation).
• Proficiency with performance profiling tools such as Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, and Tensorboard.
• Experience in designing and architecting large-scale infrastructure for AI-specific applications.
• Knowledge in running MLPerf benchmarks, distributed training, and optimizing cost-performance ratios.
• Familiar with HuggingFace Transformers, CUDA, Pytorch, Pytorch/XLA, and other relevant frameworks.
• Capability to engage and influence C-level or executive business leaders.

About the Role:

As a Technical Specialist, you will:

• Advise customers on integrating AI accelerators into their cloud strategy.
• Guide architecture decisions, migration strategies, and recommend cost-effective, performance-optimized solutions for ML model training and deployment.
• Develop proof-of-concepts, demonstrate features, optimize model performance, and profile benchmarks to highlight the advantages of Google Cloud.
• Create assets that can be leveraged by customers and internal teams to streamline and enhance their use of AI tools.
• Influence the strategic direction of Google Cloud by representing enterprise customer needs at the intersection of AI/ML and infrastructure.
• Travel to customer sites and events as necessary.
