In the capacity of a Teradata Developer, you will be tasked with the design, development, and upkeep of data integration solutions utilizing Teradata database. You'll partner with various teams across functions to gather requirements, analyze data sources, and guarantee a smooth and precise data flow within the company. Responsibilities: - Develop and design Teradata database solutions that answer business needs. - Work together with business analysts and stakeholders to collate data integration requirements. - Comprehend and analyze intricate data sources and create data models and schemas. - Develop and maintain ETL processes using Teradata tools like Teradata SQL, BTEQ, and Utilities. - Perform data cleansing, validation, and profiling to ensure the quality and integrity of data. - Improve the performance of Teradata database queries, stored procedures, and scripts. - Collaborate with database administrators and infrastructure teams for database optimizations and enhancements. - Resolve and troubleshoot data integration issues and errors. - Generate and maintain technical documentation related to data integration processes. - Stay informed of the latest industry trends and best practices concerning Teradata development. Requirements: - Has demonstrated experience as a Teradata Developer. - Has advanced capability in Teradata, MS-SQL, and Control M. - Knowledge of banking procedures and FSLDM. - Proficient in Unix/Linux environments. - Familiar with Talend. - Possesses excellent communication skills and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to work as a team in a collaborative environment.
