About the Role: Triage Engineer

We seek a Triage Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our automotive products through rigorous verification processes. This role is unique as it spans across "testing and operations" and "software development and systems/safety requirements," touching both sides of the V-model. Candidates should have experience in system and sub-system level analysis, verification and validation methodologies, and cross-team collaboration among software, testing, and project management groups. A strong background in automotive engineering and proficiency in simulation tools are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize test output data analysis related to systems engineering and safety requirements for expected AV behavior.
  • Triage drive data failures, reproduce them in simulation, and re-assign them to the correct functional owner and development team.
  • Collaborate closely with software development teams for rapid and iterative feedback loops.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Robotics; or at least four years of equivalent knowledge and work experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience working with safety-critical and complex systems like Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Automotive, or Aerospace Technologies.
  • Knowledge of software engineering concepts, including requirements analysis, source control, build processes, and design reviews.
  • Experience with Linux and scripting languages (e.g., Bash/Shell, Python).
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and configuration management tools (e.g., Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Git).
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $173,000 USD annually. The actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
