Primary Responsibilities
As a Validation Analyst at Clario, you will be accountable for high-quality and timely delivery of assigned tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Exposure to software testing methodologies, data lakes, and data warehouse/ETL projects in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Writing complex SQL queries and utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Power Center, SAAS, and PL-SQL.
- Conducting data validations and probing quality issues using SQL queries.
- Utilizing project delivery methodologies, including SDLC, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Knowledge of ALM tools like JIRA, TFS (Azure DevOps), and Confluence.
- Understanding data quality fundamentals and data governance concepts.
- Hands-on experience with various testing levels, including smoke testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in PL-SQL, PySpark, and SQL for developing and tuning queries.
- Developing test cases and study data.
- Conducting general testing, eClinical services development tools, and reporting anomalies to the department head.
- Participating in post-production product release testing, including regression and bug fix testing.

Qualifications
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent relevant work experience in a software product development environment is required.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality testing, preferably with pharmaceutical-related software.
- In-depth understanding of software quality assurance in a clinical data environment.
- Experience writing SQL queries for data validations and probing quality issues.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies: SDLC, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) testing methodology and document management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience writing test cases based on product requirements.
- Ability to work closely with development and business teams to understand and communicate problem impacts.
- Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness (preferred).
- Experience with web-based SAAS platforms and cloud-based testing (preferred).
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including remote communication.
- Goal-oriented with superior problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
