Job Opportunity: Vehicle Data Specialist at Bosch Group

Join Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) in India as a Vehicle Data Specialist and play a crucial role in developing and establishing Vehicle Data and Master Data management practices. This key position, within our Marketing department, focuses on market intelligence centered around Vehicle Data for SAARC countries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary research on vehicle specifications for on-road and off-road vehicles in India and other SAARC countries.
• Monitor, source, validate, and update vehicle population data in our database.
• Support the product marketing team by identifying portfolio coverage gaps and computing market potential calculations.
• Ensure error-free data and carry out quality checks.
• Generate customer-friendly catalogues using automated technology.
• Create various PowerBi reports for internal and external customers.
• Provide vehicle data insights to support sales and marketing KPIs.
• Decode VINs and map them back to vehicle data periodically.
• Proficiently manage different databases such as Excel.
• Focus on automating repetitive tasks.
• Capture part number data for various brands to support cross-referencing.
• Collaborate closely with the IT team to manage the database and support big data analytics and data strategy.

Qualifications

• B.E in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• Expertise in Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Vehicle BOM and strong statistical and mathematical skills.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Experience in the retail or automotive industry is preferred.
