Our global Compliance teams form a crucial part of the firm's 'second line of defence', integral to our comprehensive control framework. As part of this team, you will contribute to new business strategies, evolving product lines, and impactful policies while collaborating on educational initiatives and operational enhancements to mitigate risks effectively.

In the role of Data Management Lead within the CCOR Data & Analytics Team, you will lead the strategic development and deployment of our CCOR data initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with key stakeholders including CCOR Business Leaders, Machine Learning (ML) teams, Analytics groups, the Chief Data Officer (CDO), and technology partners, facilitating the creation of a centralized data platform. This platform will spearhead CCOR’s innovation drive, leveraging AI/ML, and advanced analytics to revolutionize our compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight and product ownership of CCOR data initiatives, including the implementation of our Data Lake, capturing requirements, test planning, and ensuring quality delivery by working closely with technology partners.
  • Development of deep expertise within CCOR functional areas to guide the design of data models aimed at enhancing business efficiency and proactive risk management.
  • Maintenance of strong partnerships across CCOR business and technology teams to ensure adherence to firm-wide data risk management policies and standards.
  • Leadership in the consultation process with business owners regarding impacts of data changes, spearheading change management across data platforms.
  • Involvement in the creation of tools and processes essential for Data Management & Governance within CCOR.
  • Development and implementation of a comprehensive data quality framework tailored to the specific needs of managing CCOR data integrity.
  • Innovation through the creation of prototypes for data visualization, analytics, and automation in collaboration with digital and product teams within CCOR.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in business analysis, data governance, or data analysis with large, complex data sets.
  • Strong experience in large-scale data warehousing or data lake projects is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with analytical and data management tools such as Tableau, QlikView, SAP BI; familiarity with AI/ML is advantageous.
  • Expertise in SQL, data, and process modeling techniques, along with an understanding of various data management methodologies for diverse data types.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior knowledge of compliance and operational risk data processes is preferred.
