How you will make an impact:
Lead an accomplished team of Data Scientists and Business Operations Analysts who generate deep insights into our business and help us make informed decisions. These analysts will focus on various business drivers (growth, retention, & operational efficiency) across different business units (product, marketing, operations)
Be a reliable business partner and trusted advisor to Jerry’s entire leadership team by bridging the gap between data, insights and impact
Develop a long-term vision and close term priorities for the data and analytics team
Guide the team in generating insights and predictions that lead to concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement
Develop and manage the roadmap for constant improvement of our analytics and reporting tools
Collaborate with Data Engineering to construct the fundamental data architecture that will underpin your analytics framework
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Product Management, Business Intelligence, Business Operations or other quantitative disciplines
3+ years of analytical people management experience
Degree in statistics, economics, business, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
Extensive experience in developing successful analytics-based solutions to business problems
Outstanding critical thinking and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide and senior audience, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analysis
Proven record of solving ambiguous and complex data problems
Proficiency in using SQL to query large relational databases and an ability to build and maintain processes to extract & integrate data from various sources
