LiveIntent Copenhagen is responsible for developing and deploying our data and batch processing infrastructure, analytics, and machine learning technologies, closely collaborating with our teams in New York and Berlin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, execute, and lead data science, machine learning, and identity strategies.
  • Advise senior leadership on data science and machine learning, focusing on ecosystem changes.
  • Oversee, motivate, and coach a team of leads, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Collaborate with other teams to establish and improve departmental standards and processes.
  • Engage in all stages of development, from idea exchange to prototyping, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Lead the development process using a hybrid of agile methods and rapid prototyping.

Your Profile

We're looking for someone with:

  • Professional experience in data analysis or software development and team leadership.
  • An interest in translating real-world problems into mathematical models and algorithms.
  • An educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, ideally a PhD.
  • Practical experience in areas such as classical statistics, data mining, ETL processing, machine learning, and data processing in MapReduce using Spark.
  • Deep product knowledge in adtech or martech.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You should approach problems analytically and solutions pragmatically. Creativity, idea generation, and connecting ideas with data are crucial aspects of this role. You should be enthusiastic about understanding and tackling the company's problem areas and capable of communicating in English with our international teams.
