This role is crucial for those passionate about shaping the future of entertainment by developing robust data infrastructure and streamlined processes for data-driven decision-making and analytics.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and product managers to enhance our architecture, improving data infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data science and analytical needs.
• Develop and maintain data systems like AWS DMS, HBase, EMR, Redshift, S3, and Kafka, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Create new tools and platforms using Python, and explore new technologies to meet future data infrastructure needs.
• Promote the adoption of innovative tools within the data engineering team.

Who We're Looking For:

• Candidates with at least 5 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark, with a strong understanding of database fundamentals.
• Experience with technologies such as Spark, Airflow, AWS EMR, and Redshift.
• Knowledge in batch processing, streaming systems, and an interest in Kafka or similar technologies.
• Analytical thinkers with an eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.

Bonus Points For:

• A passion for security and data governance.
• Experience with dbt, Looker, or Kubernetes.
