What You'll Do as a Web Software Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Develop functional, performant, and scalable web applications using React.js
• Perform performance testing and optimizations
• Build reusable React components
• Develop new user-facing features
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Analyze product design complexity, plan workload, and communicate risks

About You

• BS/MA degree in a highly quantitative field or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a JavaScript Engineer
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, JSS, SASS, PostCSS, and JSX
• Experience with responsive/adaptive web design and single-page applications
• Expertise in writing comprehensive unit tests ensuring code quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Experience with state management libraries, especially Redux
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and API integration
• Proficiency in working with build tools such as Webpack
• Experience with Canvas and basic geometry/trigonometry is a plus
• Competence in using and optimizing performance tools like PageSpeed, Lighthouse, and Chrome Developer Tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for performance
• A continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest web technologies and best practices
• Collaboration skills enabling effective teamwork within cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and efficient collaboration
