About Our Team

Our Outlet Team thrives on three core functions: Business Development & Supply Side, Tech & Product, and Marketing & CRM. We are a vibrant and international team based in the heart of Hamburg's city center. As a part of the Business Development Team, you will play a crucial role in implementing key growth initiatives within the ABOUT YOU Outlet division, reporting directly to the CEOs.

About Our Shop

The ABOUT YOU Outlet is an exclusive online shopping club, featuring a dedicated app and website (aboutyou-outlet.de). We operate on a deal structure where new deals go live every day and last for seven days. During this period, customers can shop from a selection of discounted products. After seven days, the deal ends, and the products are no longer available. As a closed online shopping club, users need to register first to access the products and discounts of a deal.

About You

We are looking for a motivated Werkstudent (m/f/d) to support the growth of the ABOUT YOU Outlet. This role offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of fashion, e-commerce, and technology within an international team. You will work on various data-driven projects that directly contribute to the success of our newest online shop.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with our Data Analyst to conduct analyses using SQL based on various data sources.
• Creating and maintaining custom dashboards using Google BigQuery and Google Data Studio.
• Supporting weekly routine tasks related to pricing and control activities.
• Assisting the team with recurring analyses and presenting results in a format suitable for senior management.
• Helping the Business Development and Tech teams implement new features and technical solutions, including testing scenarios, bug reporting, and monitoring fixes.

While you work independently on your tasks, your team will always be there to support you. As the Outlet is a relatively new venture, you will have the chance to tackle a variety of topics and learn the intricacies of operating and scaling an e-commerce shop first-hand.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a study program with a strong quantitative focus (e.g., Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics); preferably with at least one more year of enrollment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent analytical skills, with interest and understanding of working with data. Experience with SQL is an advantage; familiarity with data science concepts (e.g., statistical and machine learning concepts, Python knowledge) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and focused on delivering high-quality results.
• Strong personality, capable of working in a fast-paced scale-up environment with intrinsic motivation to make a positive impact on our business.
