Job Description

• Conduct applied research in next-generation communication and sensing systems
• Design and build innovative intelligent wireless solutions focusing on advanced signal processing and AI/ML.
• Create software to implement proof-of-concept prototypes.
• Perform performance analysis and feasibility studies using simulations, experiments, and analytical modeling.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in academia, industry, and standardization activities (e.g. ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, etc.)
• Present results to management and others in the organization.
• Develop and drive innovative ideas from scouting to projects
• Publish research work in the form of patents and conference/journal publications
• Work in a highly diverse, international, and cross-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in wireless communication, signal processing and machine learning.
  • Experience in wireless sensing techniques: RSSI, ToF, CSI, CIR
  • Proficiency in using different machine learning libraries and tools (e.g. TensorFlow)
  • Experience with wireless standards (IEEE 802.11x, 802.15.4, BLE)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong C and Python programming skills
  • Experience in embedded programming is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The U.S. base range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $155,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
