Position: ADAS - Working Student - ADAS/AD Simulation Tool Chain

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our ADAS/AD Test & Validation team to support our simulation activities. As an ideal candidate, you will engage in the design and evaluation of scenarios within our modeling environment and help identify critical driving scenarios.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and design complex scenarios using simulation tools, simulating various situations and outcomes
  • Integrate various models and datasets into simulation tools utilizing in-house tools, ensuring comprehensive scenario representation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, translating these into requirements and creating effective scenario designs
  • Evaluate data during scenario creation and post-processing
  • Identify metrics for evaluating the criticality of scenarios
  • Continuously optimize scenario parameters and inputs to enhance model accuracy and relevance
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining scenario results, critical findings, and recommended actions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in simulation techniques to improve scenario design methodologies

Your Profile

  • Enrolled student in a master's program in computer science, mathematics, physics, automotive engineering, or related fields
  • Proven experience with simulation tools such as ESmini, IPG Carmaker, dSPACE Model Desk, VTD, etc.
  • Good knowledge of middleware
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Python and C++
  • Experience with requirements management tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret simulation results and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Basic understanding of sensor technology and map data
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Strong personality and excellent interpersonal skills
