About the Role

Become a pivotal part of our team at 50Hertz by applying your Geoinformation Systems knowledge to our dynamic projects. This opportunity offers a deep dive into the diverse processes at 50Hertz, enhancing your career growth in geodata management and GIS infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting Web-Map applications within Geosolutions environments
• Contributing to projects using QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, PostGIS, and Python
• Documenting technical processes and learning materials
• Conducting functionality and plausibility tests on Web-Map applications
• Testing and debugging in Mapstore and Geoserver/Geonode code
• Collaborating with the team including reviewing technical specifications and further development of Web-Map applications

What We Expect from You

• Currently enrolled in a full-time study program in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of desktop GIS applications (QGIS, ArcGIS Pro)
• Initial programming experience, preferably with Python
• Familiarity with databases, particularly PostgreSQL + PostGIS
• Ability to work structured and independently and integrate well into teams
• Eager to learn new skills
• Fluent in German (C1) and good English skills (B2)
