Job Overview

As a member of our Software/Function Development team, you'll develop pioneering features for our virtual software/system integration platform, pivotal for the autonomous driving capabilities of future BMW cars.

What You Can Expect

• Be part of a feature team with a diverse skill set, working collaboratively and connecting with other experts across the organization.
• Work in a cutting-edge agile environment, using methodologies like Kanban and Scrum.
• Utilize state-of-the-art tools such as Bazel, Ansible, Airflow, ELK Stack, Zuul, Ubuntu, and GitHub.
• Focus daily on integrating driver assistance systems into a virtual testing environment.
• Engage in comprehensive software development and project management relating closely to the autonomous driving product.
• Contribute to all phases of software and functional development with the objective of deploying to future car series projects.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong expertise in driver assistance systems or autonomous vehicles.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with DevOps/SRE practices and tools.
• An open-mind for collaboration with various stakeholders and a willingness to solve diverse challenges.
• Preferably, experience with Bazel.
• Expertise in agile development methodologies like Kanban and Scrum.
• Business-fluent in English.
