About Your New Role
We are currently seeking an experienced XML Developer to join our expanding team on a permanent basis. Your duties will include developing and maintaining XML-based applications and systems used by some of the world's largest organisations.
Key Responsibilities
As an XML Developer, your daily duties will include:
Collaborating closely with our team of engineers to ensure our applications are scalable, reliable, and cater to our customers' needs.
Establishing and maintaining XML schemas and document type definitions (DTDs) to set rules and guidelines for valid documents.
Writing code using XML technologies to transform, manipulate, and query data.
Integrating XML with web services to facilitate seamless data exchange between applications.
Identifying and resolving technical issues related to the applications and systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should ideally meet these requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
Relevant industry certifications, such as XML Master (Basic or Professional).
Professional experience in developing data-driven XML-based applications.
A strong understanding of XML schema and DTDs.
Comprehensive knowledge of programming languages like Java, CSS, SQL, and HTML.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
