The Role

We are seeking a Head of Business Intelligence to play a critical part in shaping the future of Oviva and enhancing the health of our patients. You will lead and nourish a dynamic team of BI Analysts while cooperating with cross-functional teams and leadership to influence data-driven decisions. Your expertise and vital insights will not only sustain the realization of our strategic objectives but also pioneer the use of innovative BI technologies and methods.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and carry out a BI strategy in accordance with Oviva’s goals and objectives. Manage, mentor and inspire a high-achieving BI team, fostering an innovative culture. Work with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify data-driven opportunities and difficulties. Navigate internal as well as external stakeholders, ensuring notable business partnerships. Maintain consistency with BI tools, technologies and industry trends and recommend and implement new solutions. Boost group-wide reporting efficiency - streamline and harmonise reporting procedures, standardise KPI definitions and increase efficiency around report generation pipelines. Encourage data literacy - promote and facilitate an understanding of how to effectively handle data. Establish an outstanding self-service system, to assist teams independently work with data to support their tasks and decision making. Requirements

About You

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or proven experience working in data analytics. At least 8 years of success in BI/Data Analytics. Deep understanding of visualisation and reporting tools such as Tableau/Looker/PowerBI. Effective leadership skills with a history of developing high-performing teams. Proficiency in SQL: you read and “speak” it fluently. A solid understanding of dbt. Confident communicator with the ability to create and maintain stakeholder relationships. Strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging data to drive business results.
